Stop and BatteryLights

Just drove home and randomly the Stop and Battery Symbols came on and then off and then on etc.

What needs seeing to??

alternator, put a multimeter across the battery prob will read 11-12v with the warnings on, might go out if you rev it, should read 13+ then.

Does that mean I need a new one or that it just needs a good long drive as it's barely been used recently.

new alternator, wouldn't go far incase it packs up

So how much am I looking at to replace it?

labour + ac 2.7hrs
labour - ac 2.0hrs
