strut brace tightening

Car  ibiza cupra
once fitted do you tighten them inwards to create a negative camber type thing or do you tighten them outwards to sqaure up the struts as both kind of make sence. oh and i know about all the " they dont work, they are a waste of time and money, blah blah blah" but my missis has got me one for my birthday so it going on regardless and i think they look top if nothing else but would still like to know that its on properly.
thanks

well they fix to the chassis,
not the shock,

so i dont think the tightness will make a great deal of difference to the camber,
unless you bend the entire strut over, witch i dont think is going to be easy,

or a good idea,

i might well be wrong tho, i frequently am :(

ooh, if thats so, i might adjust mine abit,

is it best to wind the struts apart then??
