Stud Conversion Kit's

  Track 172 Cup
Still can't decide which one to go for, now I know these hold the wheels on so don't wanna buy cheapest just because I'm tight lol but price varies quite a lot.

Ktec - £90 posted loctite supplied
Pure Motorsport - £115 + postage loctite supplied
eBay - Elite Developments £75 free postage just need loctite
eBay - MAPS from £49 to £69 free postage just need loctite
eBay - mtec £40 free postage just need loctite.

Pictures are not in the same order as listed above.

The ones from eBay are similar to the PMS ones and have the Allen key in the end for tightening them up in the hub and are free delivery but need loctite, they come in around £5 cheaper than the Ktec ones. The PMS and ktec both come with loctite even though its not expensive to be fair. I have seen some from mtec which seem too cheap last picture if all has gone well.

And the elite development ones a say torque nuts to 85lb/ft is this correct not sure what the equates to in NM and I'm pretty sure standard are around 115NM ?? If this is not correct please let me know. And the PMS kit says tighten to 110NM

Dont not get the mtec ones... They stretch... Wheels come lose... And eventually they snap!

I would bet any money they are actually made by grayson and are s**t!

I got the MAPS one. Proper nice quality. Would recommend. Just follow the PMS installation instructions. Bought some Loctite 270 for it

I got them because I didn't see the need to change the thread pitch, were cheaper than some others but I wanted black studs and nuts. They also had different length options which allowed me to get some suitable for the spacers size I may have in the future

I have a kit en route from Elite as shown above. I have read that you cant use standard wheels with them on another thread on here, is this true? I plan to use standard 172 Cup wheels for wet tyres and 15's for dry track tyres.

I have the PMS ones, was going to fit them today but i want to run my standard wheels for the winter and you cant fit the centre cap back on with them so i will wait until next spring when the 15's go on with the summer tyres and fit them then
PMS stuff is bloody good kit got loads of there stuff on my car now

So the standard wheels will fit but you cant put the centre cap back on? How come as I cant see how they would affect fitting of the centre cap.

Its a 172 Cup with standard Cup wheels. Someone also mentioned in another post that the studs cant be fitted without spacers. Surely this is nonsense?

Yeah, I wouldn’t have suggested them otherwise bud. Little long but makes no difference.
