swapping mobile question

ok so today on one of those facebook groups a lady was wanting rid of her lg g3, i cheekily offered 40 bux and my s4 ( 13 months old ) for her g3 and she has accepted.

You always here of someones phone being blocked etc so what precautions can i take to make sure i dont get conned.
The lady is giving me the box and keeping the charger and hopefully a reciept of purchase but apparently its a present so probs wont get that.

Whats your thoughts?

Ask for a picture of the IMEI number. You can then run a basic report for £1.99
