T1-R or Parada Spec 2

Got myself 4x 195/50/15 T1-r's last week and they do the job well in both wet and dry but iv heard they dont last just as well as other brands ? Lovely tread pattern as well
out of interest how much? That'd be the size im looking for as well.

bloody hell, i though JMS had this offer on, ive been waiting an age for their website to be redone. Most likely get these as i'd seen them last month.
People rate the T1-R more than anything else then for the same money?

awesome dry grip, I also reckon they're great in the wet but can only really compare them to the budget tyres I had on before & not any others but good nonetheless

I got my most recent pair (195/50/15) for £56 delivered and the pair before that for £60 something. I'll always look there 1st as you can get lucky sometimes & get some seriously cheap

I've had both and tbh i prefer T1-R's, i've used them on every car i've owned and getting some more when i change my wheels again, i had yoko's on my last set of wheels and i'd say they are just as good in the dry, but as soon as it gets a touch of wet on them they are :quiet:ing pants, and the toyo's are cheaper, good luck, you know what to do

i dont really have any complaints with my t1-r's. played around with the pressures a little and it seems to feel great at the moment 34psi front, 31psi rear.
mine last me about a year or just over on the front and i do about 10k a year on them, mixed driving, not many motorway miles.
great value for money.
my brother has parada on his ph1. i really like them, great dry grip, not as good as t1-r in standing water. i was going for paradas but was struggling to get some in 205/45/16.
you wont be unhappy with either tbh mate.

No, those are the RS2's. The V12 Evo is a fairly new road tyre.

Clio RS 172 /Trafic
I've got T1-R's on my 172. They wear really well on the back but the fronts have scrubbed the outer edge off on track days. Under normal road use the fronts wear normally without scrubbing the edges off unless you are an absolute loon. They grip well but I've been playing around with tyre pressures on the back and currently run at 31psi all round. I had the rears at 28 for a while but found the handling was a bit mushy on twisty stuff.
Parada Spec 2s are better by quite a lot IMO. Very very good in the dry, but not so hot in the wet!
I went from T1Rs to Spec 2s when I swapped wheels with someone. Drove there, swapped and drove back the same road on the Spec 2s. Very bid difference for me!
However, having just got new wheels and thinking sensibly I've gone for T1Rs purely because of the wet grip advantages over the Spec 2s. Makes sense when winter has pretty much begun! They're great tyres don't get me wrong but the Spec 2s are superior. I never ran out of grip with the Spec 2s, whereas I often do with the T1Rs and that's in the dry.
So for me, Spec 2s are the better tyre, but when there is a chance more days will be wet than dry I'd rather better my chances of staying out of a ditch and get T1Rs over winter. They still do the job when the sun shines which makes up for the poor wet grip.
Oh and I drive a Yaris T Sport so can't comment on a Clio but I guess there can't be too much difference!

I had 4 Toyo T1-R and thought they were a great all round budget tyre.
I now have 4 Parada spec 2 and they're good for the money. I feel they're better in the dry but not by much. Might sound strange but they seem to be bad in the damp but in heavy rain they feel good.
