I can't get passed the tyre shine on the inner of the tyre LOL.

I'm afraid I'm swaying towards siding with Warren on this one. I respect what you do and have always read your threads, but you can have too much of a good thing where it borders on weird! Fair play again though, the standards are always very high but you need to start enjoying that thing on a weekend, not staring at it and stroking it so much!

not had time yet! but these were the front wheels! (which were in a worse state) i swapped the wheels over ! so the fronts are now on the back - very clean rears are now on the front! so when i get time ill spray these too but they will be easier to make good! well should be

no just the rears! fronts are like new!

When you have new tyres, and they replace the weights, you'll have to crack out the paint again

^^ i know hardly the end of the world! but im really pleased with them! just took some more pics! and havent looked since i did the work on saturday!! really pleased!!!!!! looking forward to doing the fronts too! (which are in better nick as these were the backs) luckily all tyres are good and all pe2's

only the inner weights yes! the outer weights no! i dont plan on changing the tyres for a while so im not that fussed! and i know that when i do have a tyre changed ill have to rub them down and sort them again! but that will be an easy task compared to this one! :approve: + i hate unsightly weights!!!! wondered when you would pop up to say hello! :rasp:

i dont think id have another elise! maybe an exige s2 (if anything) but im reluctant to spend that much or have finance at the moment! (still unsure what to do) previously i would have just thought what the hell and gone for it! but i seem to be getting more sensible!

and the tax on the s2 goes up to 400 next year! which is a joke!

edit just checked this and its 300 not 400 which is still 40 pounds more than the clio which isnt so bad tbh! thought it was worse for some reason!

I used a brillo pad & some Megs degreaser to clean the back of my FF rims.
That was before sending them off to get powdercoated though
