Finally got round to replacing my exhaust, as the exisiting one was rotten to the core.
Patience is also a virtue where Clio's are concerned. This is the extent of work needed to do the simple task of remove an exhaust:
(New exhaust fitted)
Everything got in the way....axle, bumper, wheels were removed to give the exhaust more space away from the axle....rear springs came off. The lot!
And this is the damage to the old one:
:S
I've only replaced with another standard 182 system as I see little point in putting an aftermarket on if I'm selling up. I'm keen to keep her pretty standard.
Incedentally, the old exhaust is use to NO-ONE....would it be worth taking it down to the scrap metal merchants?
I wouldn't know where to start to replace the system...so big thanks to mini-valver for his time and patience.
