Tech Help - Optical Leads

My surround sound has 1 optical input.

I want to use both my sky HD's optical output and my Xboxs optical output without swapping leads every time.

So how the f**k do i do it.

I have optical lead coming from xbox and 1 coming from sky.

What adapter do i need to use inbetween as i bought this and it doesnt work!

im guessing that is to optical outputs as opposed to 2 optical inputs!? grrr help

Using a splitter will effect the quality slightly. But it's the only way.
