The Clio On Track at Last!

Well yesterday was the day that a lot of you thought would never come and the Clio finally got to stretch it's legs on track! Did an open pit trackday at bedford autodrome and absolutely loved it. Huge thanks to everyone who was involved especially andy rg who travelled millions of miles to come on the trackday with me. Because i'm a bit like that my dad treated me to the pics on cd so i thought i'd share a few. I've got a few video's which i'll post if anyones interested?

Yeh it's a supertrapp I had on it as the car was mega noise on the static sound tests. As it turned out though the car was actually hardly registering on the sound moniter when out on the track so we took it off at lunchtime and did a few slower laps while one of the marshals listerned on the radio to give me the thumbs up or down as to wheteher it was ok. Again the car was easily quiet enough so we left it off and the car was even faster!!

thats what im worried about. mines quite loud but do they have these on site or do you need to get your own?

I really enjoyed my day out too Chris thanks for the invite. Your car handes so so so well i need to look at my set up next year, i i think soem new suspension is on the cards and to lower mine at the back a little, Here is mine i hope you dotn mind me posting on here

I think these sound regs are a bit wierd. When I went on a track day I thought my car was noisy, compared to the caterhams and other motor bike engined cars it was silent. Soon stopped worrying. Sounds like your experiences may have been similar.
