The day after Birchdown!

Car  Arctic 182 & PB 172
So, headed down on Thursday night after work. Left aberdeen and stayed in a travelodge in Wrexham and dropped the car off at half nine. Was meant to be nine but course i got a little lost haha!

Anyway...awesome lads and had the car done at half two.

It was a five year service and cam belt and aux belt kits! JESUS CHRIST...i swear its twice as fast now! The progression through the revs is INSANE!!!

Next for my RS192 exhaust :D

Good effort for travelling from Aberdeen!

Aucky has the RS192 on his Trophy - he's real impressed with his so far.

Awesome to hear!

Yeah it was a mammoth trip. 800 miles in 24 hours basically. Was a nice few hours i hung around in chester..beautiful city.

I asked the Birchdown lads what they thought was the best exhaust for clio's and they said the RS192.

Must be a Cliosport record travelling 800miles for a major service, I thought 140 miles (round trip) was a long way when I had my belts done.

Why not use clarke motorsport in aberdeen lol. ???

Me chris and jamie rigby did a 7am start to aberdeen from manchester and back in a day fooking long ass drive lovely scenery too. ,

Clarke Motorsport? Never heard of em! Im not moaning, the car is super awesome now! What has happened to checkpoint...looks closed down?

they are based in Kintore mate, build and maintain rally cars pretty much but do loads of tunning/servicing

I have to agree. I took mine there in April for its cambelt and service even though only on 16k miles and the car is like a rocket. As you say really nice blokes who enjoy their work and make time to have a chat etc. Defintely returning there when the next service is due. Did a thorough job on the car, plus were really complimentary about it which was nice :-)

Hey, h3ppy! Fancy meeting up. I dont really have any mates who are as car daft as i am. When i spend 4-5 hours on a sunday detailing my car they think im nuts! I want to get in with some car nuts but all the people down the beach dont seem that friendly and i cant be arsed driving the same road in town all night...id rather go rinse some of the awesome b roads we have around here!
