I am currently running FK Konigsports, but these are soon to be up for sale and on there way to make way for something else. as for over-fenders, i think most are universal.

How much are you after for the Wolfrace wheels?

hi, the wheels with the tyres, which are practically new and have almost zero wear would be around £300 - £350 but i need to get my new tyres yet, get them mounted and then bolted to the car...

UPDATE:
i have had a very productive day on the clio today, got to the unit at 9 and didn't stop til 6, didn't even have lunch just 3 cups of coffee.
i went down with the intention of getting the dash out, i surpassed that,
full dash is now out, all interior sound deadening from behind the dash etc is now gone... i found out that to get it all out you have to remove the blower unit, and to do that you have to remove the wipers, scuttle, etc etc, so all that is now also out and i now have remove the majority of the sound deadening from under the scuttle... tiny bit more to do

i am now sat in 2 minds....i am really unsure whether to put the full dash back in....i am tempted to leave the whole of the bottom dash out...at least, and then making up a centre console. opinions welcome
also as i now have the wipers out etc i may look at a single wiper conversion...

i didn't get pics but i will take my camera next time i go down to work on the car

single wiper and top dash only with custom center console would be epic!! ( what i want to do to mine one day :( )

They’re called over fenders for a reason.

i will probably look at covering the arch shape on the front totally....
the rears will just need to cover the wheel.
i will also be keeping the rivet whole shapes

unsure whats happening with regards to colour yet, doesn't help that were i keep the car is my mates unit.....Kolorbox Automotive Refinishing....it could end up going a totally different colour

Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77

If I could choose any colour for my ph1 and it had over feders on it would definitely be a dark matt gray!

well it seems more and more of this car is just disappearing... i have possibly sold all of the dash. and now the exhaust also....

its getting to the point that its going to be easier to break it all than rebuild it...lol

Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77

so the flocked top dash has gone...
so has the Prospeed stealth....

looks like the bottom dash is also sold....
and also maybe the FK Konigsprts...

so tonight i ordered a clio mark 1 base model dashboard, cost £7 + postage from ebay, i will be taking it to get it flocked over the weekend i think... after looking through barron's / bazzon's build thread there set-up seems like a genuis idea so that is what i am going to go for, with a few differences, just for an idea though here is a pic

BarronClio007.jpg

tyres will be ordered at the start of october,
the car will temporarily go back on standard suspension and will also have the standard exhaust fitted, these are only to get me to the relevant people/places to get new super bits fitted...

i really hope this plan comes off...lol

I like how just when I think you're nearly finished, off you go again on a modifying rampage.

Excellent, keep the updates coming country bumpkin.

WELL IT WAS KNID OF NATURAL PROGRESSION, dam caps lock.
the car needed to be taken off the road for a few tweaks, and as i now have the passat also it opened the gates to just go crazy with this...

Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77

so the whole of my phase 1 dash is now gone, out of the car and has been sold....

i purchased a mark 1 1990 clio dash off ebay 2 days ago and received it today, great condition
i am now taking it tomorrow to be flocked, it should sit nicely ontop of the bar i will have welded in the cage, and do a good job of shielding whatever i decide to put back as a dash....

Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77

Are you getting a new roll cage or getting the bar welded onto the orginal yellow one?

I got my Mk1 dash last week, really good condition but a little dirty. Could you post a picture of the dash once its flocked as i'm contemplating getting mine flocked :)

its worth getting it flocked i find the mk1 dash to be a bit shiny some times

Well i was either going to get it flocked (the more expensive option) of buying a matt black rattle can and giving it a layer of that. But getting the dash flocked is one of the last things on my A4 size list of "things to do"

i will be getting another bar put in on the cage i already have yes.... not going to be getting a whole new cage, its pretty much pointless to do that.
so the dash has been dropped off for flocking, will update with pics when i collect it yes, thats no problem

Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77

managed to spend another full day on the car again....should of been packing for a holiday but you got to sort priorities...

i wanted to get down there and start grinding useless bits of metal away today....didn't happen.

I started the day by looking at the loom, were i have removed everything the loom was just hanging around in a mess, not for long...
i managed to get the whole loom out of the car, everything, i have stripped down the rear speaker wires but that is all so far, i need some clio bummers knowledge and knowhow before i start chopping more, but i am happy with it being out, i also labelled up the connections also, so i will know what needs to go were...

i decided as that was not a good idea to start randomly chopping that i would now look at the excess metal, so anything that was spot welded in first, i managed to borrow a special spot weld drill bit so got to it... the (front) rear seat mounts come out fine, but the rears were a nightmare and i have butchered the inside rear arch...gutted really, but nothing that some welding etc can't fix...

also lost some rear mounts, some dash mounts and the airbag ecu mounts... its coming together.
next time... the grinder comes out to play...

Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77

just keep forgeting pics or even to take my camera.... just imagine a butchered absolutely empty interior and your almost there

been doing a bit of research today and am on the verge of a few purchases....
a race technology dash....
and some platics4performance windows....

however i have made 1 purchase... more tyres,
i have chosen to keep my image wheels, mainly because they are very strong and light, the only thing with these will be width as i think i have previously mentioned. I had a good long chat with the guys at Yokohama and have decided on the AD08,

59633-63817-main--1600.jpg

i am highly advised that this will be ok for what i want. the sizes that are coming are 205/45R16's, these should fit perfect on the front but will have a bit of a stretch on the rear, this shouldn't be an issue though as the sidewalls are very strong, i spose there will be only one way to find out...

i just can't wait to push this on some more...

Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77

i was thinking about it, technically i am unsure whether i will need the over-fenders as i now think the rears will tuck under the arch, however i may decide to remove the 3degs of camber on the back to get more tyre on the road, meaning the tyre will come back towards the arch

what i am saying pretty much is i don't know until i get them bolted up... i think the over-fenders are still on the cards though.

the mark1 top-dash has been flocked and awaits my collection....

yer they sound pretty handy
there is meant to be a blanket ban on road legal slicks next year..ie 888's and the likes so this should be a good alternative if the rule comes in as its been said it should

Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77

if you have used r888 or a048s on track ull be very disapointed with the ad08 there not a track tyre no matter what yokahama say. there a good road tyre tho

Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77

If you remove them then surely you're removing them just to be different? Even if you take away all the cooling mechanism from the engine bay, you still want the vents for ventilation?

Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77

not removing them to be different....that would be a step to far on that front, i was struggling to see the negatives of removing it when we were talking about how i could fit a heated windscreen...

...then i remembered that this may be driven in all weathers so i may want some kind of blower for myself....lol
i think it probably will stay
