both cars have been dream cars since i was 8! being 21 almost 22 i doubt i'd get insurance on any of them
You'd be surprised, my Subaru (UK) was cheaper to insure than my 182 and I'm 22.

I thought id post a couple of pics of a project my mate has been working on, can you guess the engine bay this scoob engine is sat in?

It is Dave, a Mk1 Escort......He's building it as a trackcar with a nice spec incuding fully forged 2.0, PPG straight cut box, his own rotated turbo setup with an SC46 turbo all controlled by an Alcatek ecu.....should see 400bhp-ish.

This isnt a cut'n'shut Escort shell welded on an Impreza chassis, he has fabricated everything including extensive chassis modifications to shoe horn the engine inside the Escort engine bay, by doing all this he has kept it RWD.

He is a greedy fecker, he also has some other nice toys including A 450bhp WRX Type RA, a version 3 STI RA, an S2 RST converted to RWD with a 2.1 pinto with 45's and in his garage is an x-packed Mk2 RS2000 with a YB bolted in the front which is an unfinished project.

No spec c but an incredibly cheap widetrack JDM blob.......Either someone will get a bargain or it will be snapped up by one the PH traders with a tidy profit in hand..

If someone is seriously looking for an Impreza to buy at present, I bet there is nothing currently for sale in the UK that can match that for 5k

The only issue I can see from the pics is it looks like it is fitted with a Type UK bootlid.....ass end shunt maybe?

Or a ktc palm off, but that is cheap, needs looking at to see what's wrong with it, then spend a few pennies to tidy it up a little.

If its legit, I hope Rich is on his way to get it.

It's about a 3 hour drive and then I have no idea why its so cheap..
If someone near by can
Go and check it out I will pay them £50..

Also, it has no service history which is obviously a big factor. Not to say it has none but it is probably the main reason for the price (which imo that is about right ht)
