Looks great, Got enough Stiffies in there lol

What exhaust is that you got fitted?

I know but i wanted the wrc spoiler so wanted that kind of look without the cost although still a bit pricey for the perrin wings.

Imo looks pants with just 2 which most people have unless on a black impreza or keep spoiler standard.

Exhaust is a vortex afterburner mate

Front end and rest of the car looks lovely, but I'm not keen on the spoiler either, I like the small spoilers myself, cheers for the pics.

lol at the comments each to their own i guess and thats whats forums are for so im cool i like to hear opinions.
Anyway i prefer the spoiler for now i wanted standard look or crazy rally look i dont think the photos do it justice but i would say that. (check out the wrc spoiler, although definately marmite i get that)

Bill - Are you thinking of getting an impreza then? I love your megane i still miss mine if im honest still so different to the scooby though both good in different ways. I just need more power in my scooby definately missing more top end torque.

Phaser1sr - Your scooby is lovely really nice you wouldnt think a scooby without a spoiler would look nice but it does spec c are very nice tbh.

Whats it like handling wise without a spoiler does it feel more loose at the back or do you need to achieve a lot higher speeds to notice a difference?

I'm always thinking of getting an Impreza lol, for the last 20 years, just not bit the bullet yet, I'm getting 25mpg out of the Megane which I don't mind, but I don't think I could happily run around doing 16mpg or whatever it is? For very long, when I can happily afford to run one properly I'll get one if there not 20k plus by then, they seem to be going that way along with the evos.

What powers your Impreza? And what was your Megane?

i get around 18mpg on mine but mainly drive it on weekends and the odd weekday, i mainly use a diesel for work.
The impreza was something i also wanted to experience one day so decided to buy one mines only the wrx though.
Had the car Dyno'd at Area 52 in August made 245bhp & 280lb/ft Torque, my megane on stage 1 mapped at RS tuning was running 272bhp & 280lb/ft Torque when i sold it.
Ive got new turbo, fuel pump,injectors/Decat Upipe to go on then get it mapped but go to hold off for now due to other commitments.

That mpg lol.looks well for a wrx, I thought it was an sti, so that's a fair drop in performance to your previous Megane then, your mods once fitted should make a nice difference, where do the mods stop on these?

i drive it quite hard to be fair as i dont use it much so mpg not the best lol Most ive had out a tank is about 230 miles, when i had a new stage 1 clutch put it and was driving around slow to bed it in.

intially it felt a lot slower in gear sorted that to some extent with removing the dump valve it had on it when i bought it and fitting a forge recirc felt like the car was holding back before. Off the line the 4wd is superior to the megane as expected and there good fun to drive. That said they can be quite laggy if in the wrong revs in the wrong gear though really have to drive with the turbo on the standard td04 turbo.

As a comparison how my car stands now the megane i would say felt like it had more in gear torque and turbo spooled up quicker. Its expected though the megane was lighter and was putting more power out and it was in a really good place when i sold it.

This is another project for me to get into, and once mapped should be bit quicker than the meg. Looking at 310-330bhp once mapped with similar or more torque. Most reckon the 5 speed box on the wrx is good for 350bhp depending who you speak to thats normally the limit on these without swapping for the sti 6 speed. The turbo i have to go on is a td05 vf35 from the sti model.

There is the familar argment why bother with an WRX just get an STi and this is true to some extend as STi has all the upgraded parts ill be putting on eventually anyway. Its the same with the meg once standard was a bit boring but once mapped its way better i liken this to the wrx in standard form.

At the time it wasnt in my budget to get an STi and I just wanted a scooby lol plus the wrx was failry low mileage so im happy with that. Ive done a lot to it already (sti intercooler, forge recirc, exhaust, tyres, brakes.strut braces front and rear, coilovers, sti bonnet scoop, double dinn stereo, changed engine oil twice and diff oil once.splitter, perrin wings, aux belt, aircon belt change, stage 1 clutch) just lacking the big power now which will come with time.i think 320bhp ish i will be happy with that until i get bored and get something else!. If you have the cash STi all the way its a different beast unless ur WRX is upgraded plus STI has the cleaver diffs the wrx doesnt have.
