I've been playing around with close up for one of the camera clubs competitions this season.
Hasn't worked out too bad but it can definitely be improved.

We did start it again and then it fell off. There isn't really much happening in this section, not as busy as it used to be anyway although there are some superb photographers on here now.

I've got a Canon 24-105 f4 L coming up for sale, unsure on date but I think around 2008 I can find out later on. Will be boxed and works perfectly but there is a few small speckles of dust inside the glass, anyone interested? I'd be looking for roughly £350?

Been a long time since I picked up the camera.

Tried something else tonight. Didn't go to plan and I've not bothered editing them yet. Will take my laptop to work tomorrow and go through them then.

Phone shot of the subject.
I tipped various colours of powder paint onto the flower and tried blowing it away. Used various things, most of which didn't really work. I'll see how they come out.
Probably didn't help that I picked the flower 3 days ago and I've left it because I couldn't be bothered. Might have looked better if it was still "more alive".

Took the little one to the zoo the other day. Pretty hard to get decent shots behind scratched glass but it was more of a day out as a family than a photography day.
Did get this one.

Shot from a helicopter over Manhattan back in February bloody cold with the door open though. High ISO equal a fair bit of noise but it was one hell of an experience.
