That second pic is cool! The halo around the tree puts me off a bit though, and it's a tad underexposed, but nice minimalist shot!

Yeah i photoshoped it too much, but i kind of like the glow, looks like it should be in a weird movie shot...

I know what you mean, but to me that glow is typical of those really crappy HDR pics (not that yours is!), and I hate those photos!

Yeah i know what you mean mate i dont rate HDR that much either, its a shame about the glow, i was just lazy and used the shadows and highlights option to make it look gloomy, ill have a re attempt later

It's not a template, it's just lights that are totally out of focus.

That's a brilliant affect. I wonder if that's just out of focus too after applying the cap.

That would just make what Dan's done into hearts.

You got your Christmas tree up? Get your camera and point. Focus on the lights. Then turn manual focus off and twist it. Watch the difference.

It'll work better if you're a bit further away/have fast glass.

Yer, i get that, but i dont get how putting that single heart template over the lens gives a picture with multiple hearts?

I'll make a template thing and try it out I think
