Pretty noisy, but between smoke and s**tty lenses it was the best I could do. I dont really mind the noise in B&W either, could run it through noise monkey and it'd disappear but meh. Not a customers shot anyway so :rasp:

Thanks Bully its a mild HDR, took it this morning and ran it through Niksoft HDR effect and then back into lightroom!

This one (I have had two early mornings recently! Was 'rescued' from an under exposed raw file. It was underexposed for HDR but the HDR effect was 'too much' in my eyes

That first one is stunning Guysy, it it shopped or HDR or anything...sorry I'm a noob at that stuff...or is it just an awesome shot!!

Also, what do you guys use for HDR? I have a mac so had a look at some apps, simply HDR is cheap and has a few good reviews. Not into heavy HDR but a little bit can look OK.

Really like the second one Scott, the water ripples really draw you in. Foreground in the first shot is way too dark for me can you pull some detail back from the raw file?

Cheers mate, I was going for the silhouette look mind. The original is full of detail but it's just horrid coast grass that is half dead with poor light
