As the evil giraffe mentioned in another thread, ive changed the white balance. Did it quickly from within the camera. Ill put before and after on. if tonight is the same ill go out with a 18-55mm,

You can do it p/p on the computer. The second one seems to have lost a lot of the trails !?

If you've got no photo-shop type software, download 'the gimp' .. I downloaded your file and my mac opened it straight up into that even though I've got other software.

Also, try and get something in the picture other than just stars, because TBQFH that is the most boring star trail pic I've ever seen

I'm guessing this was a single shot ? Not a stack..?

yea single shot, with a 50mm so wasnt really expecting much, Theres sod all here for decent pictures so i thought id get the settings right and when i go home next week to wales theres a grounded lifeboat on one of the darker beaches.

I'm going Trax tomorrow and I must admit I'm really slacked on learning how to use my dSLR properly :( what's one tip anyone can give me that's easy to implement for a better photo!? Appreciate any input! D3200 btw.

I take far too many pictures of insects. I'm in desperate need of some filters too I think.

Like that one, Adele.
On a vaguely similar theme, my first upload since early July!
Trying to work through 3000+ shots from my travels, so there will be better than this to come.
Taken tonight on my phone while out for a walk.

I've been working on this.

Unfortuntely i screwed a few of the exposures as i shot it in a rush, and capturing the UR is pretty tricky.

The front of it looks matte in that, I’m guessing that’s down to shopping things out or shopping exposures together? I did some light painting with a UR 200 with some success, some of the shots were hard to work with but the ones I kept weren’t too bad. Alien Green however, utter pain to get right when adjusting colours etc.

Thanks Rhys, a workmate went on a photgraphy course from groupon and loved it. Came with loads of material too!
