The 22 sadly is renowned to no be the best :(
I know everyone has a different experience but I've had my S22ultra for nearly 3 years now. Me and @Krarl got ours at the same time roughly and I've been so impressed with how long it's lasted me.

This amount of pics and stuff on there and it's not even 50% full. That's without any online storage or anything :O

Anyone using a Pixel 9 XL?

Currently on an S23U but due an upgrade. Was holding out for the S25U but it seems to be a bit meh in terms of updates so fancy trying something totally new.

Or do I just get a 25 😂

I'm still using my standard Pixel 6 and it's great, been thinking about an upgrade but I really don't see much reason to, ticks the boxes!

I only changed my 6 Pro because the USB port failed. I upgraded to the Pixel 7 because they were so cheap at the time (£299 new), which I had for just over 1 year. Then moved to the 8 Pro last month (again cheap £499 - with £260 trade in) only because I wanted a larger screen.

I guess the only noticeable improvements are battery life and camera performance. But I think if my 6 Pro hadn't failed I'd have likely still been using it.

Let me know how good your change is.

I've got an S23U , never use the pen and the slightly curved screen is a pain. Pixel looks tempting

Same boat here. More I read into the S25U the less I like the idea of upgrading. Doesn't seem like much of an upgrade from the S23U other than some faster tech inside it, but now I've started looking, I really fancy a new phone 😂

With workplace discounts and a trade in I can get it for about 600 quid with free galaxy buds 3, which is still mighty tempting for a new phone

I ordered mine last night. Will be going from the S23U to this.
I've upgraded every 2 years now and it just seems worthwhile with the trade in offers they provide.

With the voucher codes I'd got beforehand, trade in for my phone and 77 quid up front, it worked out to 25 a month (677 total) for 24 months.

Plus I went through TopCashBack so have got 101 quid coming back my way.
I wanted to go through my works discount page and would've got it cheaper but the portal was playing up last night. I'd have probably saved extra 100 quid or so.
I'm currently paying 31 a month on the s23u following the deal they'd offered back in 2023 so I've not done too bad.

I think it looks a good upgrade too. I don't know what more people were expecting

The non reflective screen on the 24/25u is a real selling point for me. I use different phones daily and it actually annoys me now! Would love a smaller ultra. 6.2/6.3.

I'm looking forward to it to be honest. The wife has the 24U and the screen is so much better than the 23U.

I love the new design too

I do like the new design and the screen, slightly slimmer bezels and rounded. Then I use the boxy design 24u to watch something and it's incredible viewing.

Upgraded to a Pixel 9Pro XL

Shall have my S23U for sale in a week or two if anyone is interested.

Green, 512GB, Pretty spotless condition bar a couple bits of wear on the top two corners from being in a case all it's days. Will also include said Pitaka CF super thin case. Also gonna look to change my watch, Galaxy 5 Pro Full LTE jobby.

Had a look on ebay etc. Phone looks to be worth circa 400, Would do phone and watch to a CSer for a fair price

Still rocking my S23U, still more than happy with it.

The new new flagship from Samsung doesnt seem to be able to convince me to upgrade tbh. The only 'benefit', if you can call it that, is further AI integration. Im sure theres some software and hardware changes but AI doesnt convince me to upgrade tbh.

Ive run it on battery protect mode since I bought it when it first launched and the battery life is still great. So massive plus on that one!

Anything im missing?

Interested to hear your thoughts. I would probably end up smaller pro. Have this weird weird hankering for a smaller phone .. weirdly!

Although the anti reflective screen on the 24u is going to be really hard to beat!

Anti-reflection screen and did the s23u have exynous processor? The battery life is vastly improved on the Snapdragon ones.

Flat screen? The s25 flat screen and slight curved on the corners is nice.

Not a clue on processors tbh - a quick google suggests they have the Snapdragon, so thats stacks! It seems to do everything I need it to do, without a hitch. I get some odd glitches from time to time, but rarely.

The curved screen doesnt bother me all that much, ill admit. I have a relatively bulky Mous Case on so it kind of makes the curves disappear anyway.

Looks like im hanging on for the S26 then!

Also, for what its worth, not a flex, I dont buy my new phones - the company does. But I just cant see what else id gain?

Screen on the S25U couldn't be any flatter.
I'm enjoying it so far.
I'm almost 2 weeks into ownership now and initially I wasn't really blown away with the upgrade from S23U
As ive had more use now, the battery is really good, camera is impressive.

The AI features ive hardly used, I never did on the S23U either in fairness.

I was torn between just going S25 to be honest but it was a fair chunk more than the Pixel is monthly, like 30 quid more IIRC

Intial impressions is it's slightly smaller but in a good way. Feels lighter as well.

Long as I can get Nova launcher running on it and have it setup similar I don't think there will be a massive difference other than having non bloated Android on it

I don't think I really use many of the Samsung features tbh.
Even split screen and pop up etc I rarely use. Never use the stylus. Occasionally I swipe the screen from the edge and something odd happens!

Rarely I get the odd glitch but it is still pretty fast!

First dislike, back button is on the otheraode and can't change it. Gonna try the gestures option instead

Annoying but I guess after a few days it'll be normal

Try and get used to Gestures. I've used it for years now. Feels like it gives you more screen space too

No one uses buttons man! You definitely used to be able to change it also. There is always an app on android. But yeah gestures!

New iPhone SE out next week, I would be really tempted to go this route in future I think if weren't for going 'backwards' from the Dynamic Island.

Had been using gestures for ages it turns out, the gesture for bringing up used apps on pixel is pretty poor though and I don't think it can be changed unfortunately

Pretty happy so far, the slightly smaller size is nice. I don't know if it's a performance upgrade really but I didn't use a lot of the Samsung features either like @riz ao not missing anything

Going to sack EE off and go with Lebara.

I'm not sure what 'speed' im getting with EE currently but noticed Lebara who I want to go with say 33. Anyone with Lebara and find the speed absolutely fine.
