Shouldn't have sold my B14's 😂 thought it was a good idea at the time, interesting about the BC's, see them used on lots of other cars, are they a similar kind of price to the B14's? Mines probably not going to see track time just road/fast road
I think they are a similar price from memory. I know I paid £1150-ish for a set of BC’s on my Z3 fully fitted and set up and it was a similar price for the B14’s from the same garage.

Will have a look round, see what I can find, have a holiday to go on first then will get some sorted, then it will be MOT time again :)

Couldn't believe my eyes on Saturday, on the Gc-1, passing the airport on Gran Canaria, spotted a Sunflower Ph1 with a burbling exhaust buzzing down the fast lane, unfortunately missed it with the camera....had to give it a double take...

Keeping her OEM Plus
But may get another PMS exhaust manifold and ITB setup to go with my K24 ITB DC2 as it had the PMS breathing mods on my last ph1 and it was unreal. No k series but still a lot of fun.

Steering rack on the sunflower has popped, can they be refurbished or anybody have a rack sitting around?

Mines still sat in the shed with the gearbox hanging off after I got fed up of trying to get it to work. I had it all back together after swapping the engine and for some reason I could not get the shifter to align properly, or the clutch is dragging, I'm not sure which. I should really get it to an actual mechanic but I'm too stubborn (and cheap) to bother...

I've got a Sachs race clutch to go on, and I need to order a PMS shifter too. Hopefully next year I'll have it back on the road, I miss driving it :(

Has it been the year of the broken/unused Ph1?!

I even had an awful thought of selling my E34 to get enough funds without needing to save up to "finish" the Clio - gear box rebuilt with LSD, sort out the body work and any rust, refresh the undersides (remove and powdercoat front subframe and rear beam etc), roll cage, some nice bling parts for the engine bay (AN fuel lines etc) and some money put aside for an engine rebuild with lairy cams when the cambelt is due next. But I know I would regret it 100% as soon as I handed the keys over.
