I would want the PS pump to be honest too lol!
pah, luxuries
I would want the PS pump to be honest too lol!
Tried the 172 alternator but it requires modding to line up with the bracket. even the the adjustment would not be ideal. Much easier to use a different alternator, which i have now and it fits perfectlyby removing it i have lost 3 pulleys that the a/c setup has. compressor, lower idler and the auto tensioner pulley.
For those who are interested i will post details of what bits u need to do the conversion. Its gonna work out MUCH cheaper than a cup setup
:approve: did you use the 172 alternator then mate? have you got it to fit ok? or have you used a different alt?
bare minimum ftw (stole your pic beanie )
Im still keeping the pasI would want the PS pump to be honest too lol!
Out of interest, what does the Volvo/Custom-made bracket do? Obviously the A/C pump is removed but why the need for a bracket?
highly unlikely they will have a KFC on track now is it.
Thats what i thought :S10kg?! :S Doesn't really seem worth it imo,
in saving weight.. whats the max amount of petrol you would put in when on a track for example?
bit off toic but i wanna see the video from the camera you got on the car in the second foto on your reg plate lol
It's not just 10kg lost. It's was a drain on the engine, and it's weight front right up front on the car - on a car as front end biased as the Clio, it'll be better loosing weight from there than the back. Let's also not forget that the damn thing didn't work properly anyway and it is a track car! Top work imo!
Vintage thread thisbit off toic but i wanna see the video from the camera you got on the car in the second foto on your reg plate lol
