The time has come....

Hi all

my time has finally come to deploy to Afghan with camera in tow!

flying in 2 weeks - just been given my D3 kit yesterday, 2 x bodies and lenses.

Will make sure to post up the best of what I take........so watch this space.

he is the guy I have just replaced down at sunny Army HQ.

I sooo almost applied to do this last year. Finished my course at uni but Im not sure about applying now. I know there are so little positions available, maybe a will try in a few years.

What lenses you taking?

2 bodies strapped to my body armour via some clips.

2x 8gb cards in each camera ( 1 for NEF and 1 for jpegs)

1 body with 24-70mm
1 body with 70 -200mm
14-24 mm in belt pouch
...and thats it!!!!
