Firstly my n/s xenon bulb decides its had enough, then yesterday it wouldnt rev above 3k and my MIL came on, and then, almost 2 years to the day i did this to my black 172...

... the icey roads have caught me out again. Just slid into the curb, fucked a 2,000 mile PE2 bent my rim and the steerings now at 8 to 2.

Doesn't look to have damaged the subframe fingers crossed, as the wheel isn't pushed back, but we'll see :dapprove:

Bugger! Hope the only damage is the alloy.

looks slightly back, but let the garage decide that, you may be lucky and just a new tyre and rim,a nd sort the steering out.

i wouldnt worry im sure the icey roads are going to catch a fair few other people out this winter!

Im a techy for Vauxhall so ill have it on the ramp 1st thing tomorrow

Upside i suppose is i got the PE2's for free and at least the airbag didnt go off ey

Done the exact same thing on the day before christmas eve. going round a corner really really slow and it just slid into the kerb.

Needed a new wishbone, stabiliser rods, tracking, alloy and a tyre
