my cover note just came thru for my 172 cup, which i got today. except theyve got my pass date on there as 11/02/2004, when it sould be 07/04/2005. Now im gonna ring them up but surely thatll affect my premium? ive already paid the whole thing off. I dont know where the hell that got that date from but now im shi1tting it cuz i cant afford much more as im already skint, what do i do????

there error, not yours. your premium should remain unchanged as far as i can see. although its pretty much 100% they will try and squeeze some more cash out of you. stand your ground and if your feel like your talking to a brick wall speak to their supervisor, then their manager until they tell you what you wana hear

Ask them to get the recorded phone call out, you'll have no probs if you are sure you gave them the correct date, there fault not yours.

they record most calls...you could guarantee if it was your error they would have a record of the phone call lol.

I'm pretty sure they record most if not all phone calls, there's plenty of people on here in the business that should be able to help you. Ask what your new quote is and if it's through the roof ask or the tape, if they can't provide it surely they'll have to go with you!?!

surely you told them you've been driving since April 05.... i dont see how us being in 2006 confuses things! lol

if you think it was your error, then i dont see the point in this thread.

Get it changed ASAP though, because its currently a void policy if the details are incorrect.
