Just had my pal around for me to clean & oil his ind kit & it was totally filthy. This kit has only covered 1000 miles and already the build up was insane

Heres a couple of pics

I recently done mine also & this is the oil I purchased of ebay for £4
Its well worth doing

So get them oiled up

I bet that stuff is probably the same as the K&N stuff?
Glad I didnt fit one of these kits now and kept the airbox, but I have reoiled mine

I use my standard airbox and use a panel filter much easier. I don't like the cones anyway.

2nd pic is manufacturing residue, they need a wipe before fitting, that will have been there all along

I thought it was residue as I couldent get it off lol but all is good now & it actually makes a small difference

Anybody running a foam panel filter or induction kit needs to reguarly oil the filter.
