throttle bodies or jms rs2?

  clio 182 ff
i have bought a set of cams for my 182 but am looking to take it one step further. i was going to use bike bodies but the geeral opinion is that they are rubbish lol. so now im stuck between throttle bodies or a jms rs2 manifold.

what are the difference in performance and drivability?

what would people recomend.

and what sort of power have people had from their 182s with cams and manifold or jenveys. my car has full exhaust system and decat at moment.

thanks stonesy

It's ITB's all the way IMO I wouldn't spend Jms money (if you get one 2nd hand) to get that little of a gain tbh and plus ITBs sound and drive amazing :)

There are no decent before and after figures for cams + the RS2 so you'd be in unknown teritory.

The JMS boys had a car with C&B cams that made over 200bhp but all the other graphs I've seen have been below 190 with cams. But unfortunately the before and after graphs are always on different rollers as far as I've seen so you can't really draw any conclusions on the net gains.

Depends what you want and how much you want to spend. From what I understand....

Do you want major engine works with the ability to run higher power but willing to spend more money on a new ECU and mapping? = ITB's

Do you want to retain the standard features such as cruise control and decent MPG and carry out (^relatively) smaller engine works? = RS2

You should have just gone for a supercharger for the sake of another grand or less

Jenveys, each and every time. Having driven one recently, the AT's are no better than they were 3 years ago. No balls, despite being very well manufactured
