Air intake for what? Pre, post IC? Pre inlet?

Sorry just trying to understand what's going on with your setup.

Scanguage uses obd port so I think it takes reading from the sensor after the intercooler before the inlet. It always reads 2 degrees above ambient when driving along normally.

Yes, it can read boost as well but I'm not sure it's setup right so I display voltage, water temp, air temp, and speed. Speed reads same as gps so I use that to set cruise control through 50mph average speed zones etc.

Looking for opinions on how much my R26 is worth with the spec below. Car is now on 120k miles and front bumper is stone chipped so could do with a respray. Engine is in great condition and uses no oil between 6k mile oil changes.

Update...

  • Went on track at Origine RS at Goodwood last August
  • Ripped all the teeth off 5th gear so needed a third gearbox rebuild
  • Hit a pigeon and bumper broke where it had previously been damaged by cones at Castle Combe
  • Reversed into a post and damaged the rear bumper
  • Buy front and rear bumpers and wings from an LY R26 being broken
  • Fit the rear bumper
  • A6 estate reverses into the side of me while driving through a car park damaging the drivers side door, wing and front bumper
  • The mong denies he was at fault
  • Order a BMW M240i and put £1000 deposit down
  • Insurance company decides he was a mong after all and admits fault
  • Choose bodyshop I want to use and get the estimate approved
  • Have second thoughts about the M240 and debate getting it
  • Cancel the order and manage to get my deposit back
  • Fit the front bumper sourced from the broken LY R26
  • Drop the Megane off at the bodyshop last week to paint whole front bumper, wing, door, offside rear quarter, nearside rear quarter, mudflaps, and hole where the original spoiler fixed to boot lid filled and painted.
  • Get a Mokka X as hire car which I hated as couldn't fit my golf clubs in so switch it to an Astra SRi lol

And that's where things are today, hoping to get the car back Tuesday or Wednesday looking perfect again :grinning:

s**t the bed! I'd have given up long ago with this, fair play to you for sticking with it though. Must be a blast, I miss the power my megane had.

Progress so far on my Megane, didn't realise the door had so many dents lol. I'll hopefully get it back on Tuesday or Wednesday. Looking forward to finally having perfect mechanicals and bodywork :grinning:

A bit below from what I've seen so far, although the AWD system is a complete unknown so that may be a factor.

I'll put faith and in be happy with whatever Charlie says mine is (or isn't) making!

Pleased with the mud flaps I had painted as well. I'm hoping they will help prevent the road rash that damaged the door jambs and rear quarters!

So the car is now finally has sorted mechanicals and bodywork! I'm not going to sell it though which is usually the norm on CS 😂

I'm not sure it will do many more track days, more likely just the occasional Ring trip. I don't have 100% confidence in the gearbox so risking too often on track isn't worth it.

Looks great! What's the confidence issue with the box out of interest? I thought it's been rebuilt?

Had a play with the M2 on the way back and it's even up to a certain point but then top end the M2 shrugs off it's weight disadvantage just says bye bye!! So I'll have to get the fuel system upgraded for that extra 50bhp now lol. Hopefully we can get out on track or on the Ring at some point.

Megane is going to get it's front bumper, door jambs, and rear arches wrapped with paint protection film on Saturday. I'm not enjoying worrying about stone chips so will give me piece of mind and prevent the pebble dashing on the arches and doors happening again.

What a line up of cars!
What sort of power is your Megane running at the moment?
How much is it to have the bits wrapped in the protection film, really want to do this myself before winter.

Last time it ran at Surrey Rolling Road a coupe of years ago it was 330bhp and 360lbft.

I've been quoted £299 for bumper, £40 for the rear arches, and door jambs he's doing for free. The paint work cost £1700 of which I paid £660 towards so definitely worth it to keep it looking fresh.
