tinting windows

my girlfriend has just picked up har clio 1.2 16v, brand new 04 plate, does anyone know if she will be able to get the windows tinted???

its on a finance deal but she is paying her own insurance.

is it a warrenty thing??

Youre not allowed to modify parts in any way, in such that any part that you change which results in that part or a connected part breaking, it will not be covered under the warranty.

I cant realistically see changing the tint of the glass as a warranty issue or affecting any other car part in any other way though.

But seeing as many manufacturers offer it as a service, and you could argue that you are preserving the upholstery!! I wouldnt think it was a problem as long as its a legal tint that is!

ur also by law not allowed any tinted film forward of the b pillar so u could only have back done anyway

or u be a rebel and have the front slightly dun! i aint been pulled with mine!

plus u can have them dun on warrantee but if the windows break at any time they will say f**k off its cus the windows are tinted!



but to be 100% sure just fone up and ask!
