Eh, where do I start.

Make sure you know where all the wires go to, label with tape etc is ideal as they mount up.
Know how to plug the radio back in, I haven't had music in the car for 2 months.
Make sure all the wires aren't trapped before bolting it back down.
Can be easier putting the heater section in from behind before screwing everything in.
Keep track of screws, and more importantly the clips which alloy the top half to screw into the bottom.

Steering wheel is easy, top and bottom cowling come off with the 3 screws underneith. Unclip the airbag using a screwdriver from behind (abit tough). The airbag has two wires, pull the latch thing out of both and pull then out, simples. Steering wheel pops off with one torx and the only other wire is the horn was is easily found and sorted.

If you pull the wheel off and the retaining washer on the collumn comes off, you have be sat there was a long coiled wire, various rings ad other bits and bobs.

If this happens, coil the wire lightly, not tightly around the middle, beneath the ring that is attached to beneath the collumn on 2 small wires, and insert the second ring ontop and inside so the White wire can rotate etc. The ring with the square piece at the top is also the ring to cancel indicators etc, which needs to be level with the White piece coming in from the stalk. Both held on with the small central little plastic washer. Had a nightmare time with a steering wheel swap with this on Tuesday, took 3 hours and between the cars removed 8 steering wheels and refitted to try and get it to work.

Oh and if the air vent that gives the windscreen air isn't clipped down then don't screw the top half of the dash down, it's impossible to clip down without pushing it from beneath.

Can get some proper pics tomorrow if you want?

Oh and the radio stalk, don't undo the 2 screws at the back. It comes off with a single clip that is at the top just inside the cowling.
