Thanks,i will have to keep an eye out for a set.I guess just some vibration on idle?

There’s a little bit but it doesn’t feel like your teeth are being rattled out. On the standard 182RS seats it just felt a tad more un-refined and “90s” if that makes sense, and with my buckets it’s barely any different.

Drove the car from Bournemouth to Sheffield and back recently and didn’t feel like I was being NVH’d to death at any point, you’ll be just fine 😁

The only mount i have ever changed on the clio is the dogbone mount to the poly mount, when i got the clio.So with this in mind i was looking to freshen up the mounts and thought why not try solid mounts to go along with the dogbone mount.

So thanks to @colesy i bought a pair of mounts off Ollie.Great posting with Ollie as arrived this morning and were only sent yesterday.

Gave them a little tidy up with a coat silver paint on the upper mount and just a clean with the gearbox mount.

Interested to see how these will be on the clio, worst case i take them off and just get new febi oe ones.

No problem at all, and they look great now, exactly what they needed.

Fitted the engine mounts today along with a paint of the cambelt cover mount.
Not to bad of a job, apart from trying to put the two bolts in on the gearbox mount.Do they have to go in from the bottom or can you put them in from the top then nut underneath?.

On idle it seems all fine with just a tiny bit of vibration, gear changes are more positive along with the pms shifter i have.Only thing is i have small vibration through the foot pedals,is this normal?.

Shall see how i get on with them as takes me a while to see if i will like them.

Engine bay is looking a bit more tidy now also.
