they have bought that off dulan.

he listed it for 40k using some unknown trader & it didnt sell, - I know what he paid for it ( on 400 miles ) but wont disclose.

I wonder what he traded it to ktec for....... Or are they selling it sale or return-

It does need some miles! Wonder if the belts have been changed?

Wow.
If that isn't ridiculously priced beyond belief then I'm buying it.

Lol... going by your usual valuations, proportionately.. I'd say add another 20%.

I don't think you'd be too far out this time tbh Steve...

My valuations have the reality factor otherwise still in orbit from the V6 forum ;)

although it has to be said, what was a 15k V6 2 years ago, has like for like incremental increase of about 10% YOY for both years....

Would sooner buy a 20k one with some miles under its belt.
Would break my heart putting miles on that!

Exactly my thoughts. It's not classic enough yet to appreciate it lying in a garage or at a show only.

You just couldn't drive that at all.

If this was any fr you would be creaming your pants gally

This is silly rare being a v6 let alone LY and it will only rise in value...

  Whichever has fuel
If I had the money, I'd buy that. That's a safer investment than anything I can think of!

What a car!

You'll see I mentioned "yet"?

It's still a modern car. In 10-20-30 years time people will be coming in their little Renault boxers over it but it doesn't have that yet. Low miles or not.

I appreciate the car. They're special brilliance.

As Dan eluded to above. It's a great investment and they don't come along often.

How many people should have bought a mk1 Escort or an e30 M3 Evo etc.

I'd just rather have one I could drive. You simply couldn't drive that LY one.

with the mileage @ 911 it only has 89 miles left before the magical 1k.

Ideally the mileage needs to stay below 1k to keep it @ hero status. Dulans is around 500.

it will be interesting to see what it goes up for- but whoever buys it will no doubt trailor it away.

Imo low mileage like that doesn't mean much, unless the servicing etc is kept on top of. I assume it has been?

I know of a blue Mk1 that's on about 13 miles, seems a bit pointless to me.

Can see the appeal to someone mega rich who just wants something no one else has (a rare car to start with that's not been driven)

It's just a bit of a shame, they should sell it to me for 15k and I'll rag the tits off it and let everyone enjoy it as I drive past.

To a collector sub 1k is important

Piece of cake to just stop it registering miles as you drive it, only need to unplug the ABS sensors, get out and enjoy it and still keep it under 1k.

Loads of ph1 and early ph2 clios have non working milometers anyway, so its not like it would be anything new if it doesnt work, lol.
