Hello everyone, brief introduction, im Tom, I'm 20 from birmingham.
Had a few cars despite my age, mainly fords, thought I'd get a 172 and I love it!

Spec:
172
Lowered 35mm
Trophy rear spoiler
K-tec stealth system

RO52 XRD - has a cliosport sticker in the back window (abeit very old one) anyone knowing about it?

Mine and my mates cup

Very tidy inside and out

Plans:

Get rid of welsh plates and have a 3/4 front one
Carbon wrap to bullets and diamonds
Wheels redone in black
Carbon cup splitter
The tires are 205 on front and 195 rear. annoys me. so new 195's all round

What do you think? Also would love to find a previous owner!

Not much done to it really, small plate fitted, 520x84.
Looks a lot smaller than others on here though?

Excuse the shocking quality.

but yeah, gathering ideas and stuff for this now.
Want to go functional rather than form with this

Maybe you local boys saw my old fiesta last year?

Any ideas what to do next?

I'm thinking carbon wrap usual bits, get the wheels black, and a few choice suspension parts

Cheers - did headlight correction earlier.
1200, 2500, 3000, scratch-x followed by a brief blow over with the rotary.

No pics, but honestly before they were the worst yellowy lights ever!

Wheels are going black tomorrow.

Carbon wrapped stuff next week

Only a tempory measure - I hate silver on silver.

Just finished doing the alloys, went for satin black, much meaner than gloss IMO and a lot easier to execute.

Looks alot better, beforehand it looks non-sport like!

Cost of refurb: £11.99 - had some materials Lying around.

That's pretty much it exterior wise, skoda splitter to be fitted.
(il get better pics the weekend!)

new tires on the front needed, gunna go for proxes 4, they performed well on my lupo gti.

Any ideas what to go for next? Finishing touches maybe?

Not a fan of those spoilers! I'd prefer a Cup one with cash anyday! Paint the calipers? Cheap and easy.

paining the callipers black it's been lowered 35/45mm on unknown springs.

How do you sort the bullets out? Mine are badly pitted.

Edit: I love the spoiler, some people dont but hey, that's what car
Modification is all about. All the old boys went mad when I sprayed my cosworth alloys blue but everyone else loved them.

OEM PH2 iceberg 172 - skoda splitter on

Fitted skoda splitter and did a little more work on the headlights today, also swapped the wheels front to back.
Had a spare morning so gave ro52 xrd a little clean

Couldn't really get a nice pic of the splitter - however I'm happy with how it looks.

Ps I've only spent 30 quid on mods/paint etc

I must own a frankenstein Clio haha. Silvervisions and flatblades next. Then focus on getting it to handle 100%

I'd go body colour with black writing on the bullets.
Like the car so far, looks nice. The trophy spoiler doesn't look the same on non-trophy's as it does on trophy's, wierd.
Love the wheels too. Really REALLY fancy mine done in black.

Looks smart mate I've painted my wheels Matt black and going to do the writing on the bullets in black and paint the calipers red I think

Apparently it's only on 182's that the bolt spacing is different!!

appreciated.

the wheels are a temporary solution until some TD 1.2's are found.

The bullets, I gave them a quick wet sand followed by megs scratch-x earlier and they came up a treat! so leaving them be for now.

Bolt spacing one 182 cups is 60mm, 172's are 54mm.

The FF is a 182 thing, not a 172.

Better shot of the wheels. I love satin!

Debating spraying the diamonds and bullets black.

Might be 'too much', and when I eventually get White wheels it will look pish. Hmmm

had a week off work so bought a few little bits to keep myself busy.

first off had front tires changed, toyo proxes. also added the obligatory F1 team sticker to the bonnet, cliosport membership paid for and got some 3m di-noc carbon to have a play with!

today i gave the car a good going over, ahead of FCS next weekend.

After the clean, de-tarred, AG SRP & EGP: (excuse my poor photog skills)

So that brings me up to date. also sprayed my inlet plenum and fuel rail guard wrinkle black and sanded logo back.

ordered 16mm hubcentrics and eibach camber bolts to get a nice fast road setup sorted next!

also - trophy spoiler sold (not my taste) and fitted induction kit and removed acoustic valve whilst i was there.
and i removed the vibration washers from the seat rails to sit a little lower

Poor pictures, but fitted my wheel spacers fills the arches nicely.

going to set some 5mm ones for the rear, and 195 section tires too.

Standard spoiler also fitted, no pics.
