TomTom Release New Maps *offer*

TomTom have now released there latest maps for there lil units.

Apparently the *10 range have the latests maps installed already.
So i assume these updates only apply to all *00 owners.

There is a map version checker on there site so everyone can check.

20% off until the end of the year.

Reasonably priced if you download them.

I have these maps on a Navigator 6.

They ain't by no means perfect still!!

They never are lol.

Using a 910 the other day with the new maps. Told me to do a U-turn on the M6 then take a left and cut thru a feild to get to my house!!!

I dont think thats a resonable price for a map update really. Specially for the price they are. I hate it when you go in a tunnel and it says 'perform a u-turn as you a going in the wrong direction' it should know theres a bloody tunnel and pause its map until it picks up signal again lol.

could go on and on about how s**t they are, but its saved me from the big yellow boxes a few times so I'm happy with it.

When i meant they were reasonable price i meant compared to there previous years.....

They were charging up to £100 for map updates last year!

Yes i agree that when you spend thast much on a sat nav map updates should be free of charge.

MOST of all the other manufacturers provide you with free map updates which i think is ace.

The TT maps are always a year or so out of date, as they use the released ver of TeleAtlas maps at tiem of production..... and only provide a yearly update like now.
