Trax Rolling Road FAO da and Clio In Motion

Rolling road my 172 at Trax and it made 195.6hp at the fly and 162.6hp at the wheels. Apparently da's 182 made 191hp a few runs before me and Clio In Motion was running after me.

Here's the graphs:

My car is as far as I know completely standard engine wise with only a Ktec stealth exhaust. I think the fly figure must be at least 15hp over if not more but can the wheel figure be that inaccurate?

I'd say the weather details are in wrong

Hum: 73%
Press: 1018mB

Thats what the bbc say for today. The old DD dyno can be inaccurate if the user makes a mistake on the details.

the BP is entered wrong by the operator. Should be about 103.2 according to the weather today, this WILL cause high numbers.

They should get a windows upgrade, bluetooth weatherstation FTW haha

I went to the operator thats not right it should be 172hp and he said that my car pulled really well. So I asked for the wheel figure and graph.

So, stupid question, but what percentage do we think these readings are out??

One lad I spoke to said his 172 got somewhere in the 160's and he watched my run and was amazed at the reading!

The figures could be out by 30hp, it all depends on what gear used, how out the details are and where the temp probe was inserted.

I really don't like the old dos system as this is an issue and many places use it to bend the readings.

If someone wants a free power run who went on this i will show you what i mean (i cant change the weather details on the new windows version as it is done by a weather station)

I will be coming over to yours shortly Paul for the RR day, but that will be after I've had it mapped.

Unless you fancy a 'before and after'??

Thanks for the offer pity I'm so far away from Leeds.

Are the figures any good when comparing car to car? Is mine be more powerful than da's or is it just complete b****cks.

It depends on the operator. In theory it should be close but may not be. I usually find my dyno and other DD's that are used correctly come within a couple of hp on the same car, sometimes closer!

What RR day?!

Lol, there is talk of getting a rr day going for the N/W lot of which someone suggested RS Tuning. Nothing more has been done other than say the above so you wouldn't know anything about it. Da is just a bit keen!

ITG panel filter, Yozza exhaust and a new set of spark plugs ;)

Brakes are Brembo Max HC discs up front, braided lines all round and Mintex pads all round. Castrol Super response DOT4 brake fluid and suspension is Eibach Sportlines. Other than that just cosmetic mods really.

What RR day?!

That's a similar answer i got the other day from your parents when i went to pick my 182 up after they did the belts and brakes for me, i asked if it was safe to push the engine hard soon after having the belts done......to which the reply was that it's fine but that you'll probably be half way round the world around that time anyway :)

so i'm guessing the RR day will be next month if it does get arranged

I would never go on a mobile rolling road, what a load of crap they come out with, no offence mate but its obvious on a propper rolling road with everything set up your car would be lucky to have 165 bhp at the flywheel
