Trip to Angel-works

  2005 Nissan Navara
when are those inlets going to be done ben? Its been an hour, and no news yet...im getting suspicious... i might even start slating you for it in a minute....is there a band wagon due to pass anytime soon???

M

mini-valver

when its finished, you asking me every week isnt going to get it done any faster.

I've got plenty of already comitted work to get on with before i waste any time on development projects.

I love you

If he had'nt said the inlet and exhaust would be ready in January, he would'nt be getting bugged about it now, nearly June.

James, jeez, how impatient, it's only 5 months... I was still waiting for some pulleys, cam timing etc etc 2 years later  :rasp: ;) pmsl

Thing is though they're so busy at Angel works cos not only do they have development work to do, but they have various on going customers' projects and they also do servicing, fitting and repair. On top of all that, Ben is a meticulous beast and likes things to be perfecto before he lets them out of his sight (quite rightly so imo).
Any thing to come out of the AWT workshop is worth waiting for...

Trong makes really terrible coffee. He's good company though while you're waiting. Oh, and he wields a mean ratchet and so when can I get my top section that got cross threaded, sometime soon pleeeeease?

Cheers, Rob669

He certainly does, but he's from HK like myself and i dont think its part of his culture.

Sadly we had our fridge nicked before we moved in so i dont have the means to keep milk from turning rapidly and i havent had time to go and buy one. Lame excuse, but its the principal really.

He is ex mercedes and honda.

Still, i have to brush the back of his neck gently to remind him to be gentle with threads, he's quickly learning that its not acceptable at all.

Not meaning to be nasty Ben, but all that poofy banter between yourself, Fred, and lots of your customers, is it just a wind-up or are you all genuine arse bandits?

If I was to be looking in the engine bay watching you at work I would'nt be wanting Trong to make a surprise back door delivery lol.

I meant in general, not just for matters of an automotive basis.

what do you do for a living?

  2005 Nissan Navara
im just trying to get to know you a bit better mate.

are you really 55? all the 55 year olds i know drive proper cars lol.

are you still in the fabrication trade then?

  cup 182 mit stripes
No, like I said I'm burnt out. Made a lot of money in my day though.

What do you mean by ''proper cars'' Cant think of a better motor than a 182 to keep a fellow young at heart.

You never know whats round the corner. thats the thing about life.....one day your happily welding a framework, or enjoying the spritley attributes of a Renault Clio, then BANG...its all gone.

Makes me think back to my youth and how I could have got more out of it.

  172Cup
Not really, lots of good tuners in Bonnie Scotland.

where? :S

I live up in Scotland and after looking for tuners, decided it was worth the wait for Ben to send me a matched inlet for my Cup, absolute quality craftsmanship on the inlets, i was well pleased
