Trip to the Garage

  Shed.
So, i thoght id ask my gf's dad what he thought to my tyres, they were fine, cept they were bald on the outer edge, prolly half a mm of tread left.

Took them into the garage with him today to get some new ones (he needed to go and ask a few questions about his car), or to just swap the back tot he front and re-allign my steering.

no. Needed new tyres. theres £70 (included fitting and the re-allign) gone allready.

Apparantly the nuts were so hot he thought he'd take a look at my breaks, bald of course, i took a look at them myself, and they werent far from the metal, so, bought some of those too..im glad he did or id be looking at new discs too.

Todays cost me £110+£35 for a full tank of piss. Granted it would have cost me about £180 if the gf's dad wasnt good friends with the guy that works at national tyres. But ffs. Running a car is expensive s**t, i cant wait to get a clio sport.

Now my breaks dont squeak like f**k, and my steering is slightly offline, which imo is pissing annoying. Anyways, im f**king glad i started saving for a clio sport, because like every other month ive been alive, id have no money left by now.

Up until the end of last month, I was paying approx £250 a month on petrol alone...then there's insurance, plus Road Tax, plus general wear and tear and maintenance...you might not realise it, but you've a hell of a lot less to pay out than you would have with a 172 or 182...and I'm not even gonna mention a V6! :quiet:
