Cheers guys. Bash, the megane F7R head runs with DIS (Distributorless Ignition System) basically it's just one big pack that goes straight to your spark plugs, and it won't run in a clio 16v without
A. Standalone Management
B. Having head machined to fit a dizzy

So it's easier just to fit a williams f7r or 16v f7p head. Finding a williams head can be hard and I got quids in by selling the megane head and buying an f7p head.

ahhh gotya! awesome car aswell!

Wow, random bump!! lol.

His 'car' no longer exists. The shell and the rear beam are still with us, but everything else is different. ;)

I ran it for about 3000 miles. Was fine but there was room for massive improvement.

The 1800 head (imo) restricted the car quite a lot compared to Williams i've owned in the past.

He built a good engine though! Didn't use a drop of oil or water in the time I owned it.

I'm not sure, i'm not a mechanic.

All I can say is that I've had 3 clio 16v's, and 3 williams and the williams is a completely beast. I personally wouldn't bother fitting a 1800 head to a 2.0 bottom end.

Either fit the complete 2.0 or tune the 1800 with bodies etc.

Yeah its pretty much done mate. Just needs a windscreen and an MOT. I still drive it every now and again on trade plates but i'm moving at the minute so its not been touched for the last 3 weeks or so.

Its currently completely empty inside as I was halfway through fitting a weld in cage. But because i'm moving now thats taken priority and its just sat there.

It shows how un-bothered I am, i'm doing a trackday on sunday and i'm taking the 200 as its just so much easier! lol.
