Ive started reading up on LAMBDA (oxygen sensor) tuning and although this seems a bit way out it might be possible to get some results.
What im reading is engine management systems run closed loop and open loop. Closed loop is where the ECU adjust fuelling based on the readings it gets from the LAMBDA sensors. Open loop is where the ECU uses a built in map to adjust fuelling typically at WOT (Wide Open Throttle). This is why if youve got mods. on your car and you are having a chip done you ideally want to get a remap done - like Roamer has had.
