Sounds impressive looks like there are gonna be a few low 12sec runs at the pod this year :D

see you at RTOC national day.

already into the 12,s with standard lump so with this baby im aiming for 11s. James from jabba sport did an 11.8 at 127 mph in his golf with the same set up as im going for and they are a lot heavier than the clio,s - especially a stripped to the bone one like mine

are you not going to need some decent brakes on that thing now Matt...

you are pushing some serious serious speed now...

and some good harnesses and seat?

brakes are fine mate - im only using it on straight lines and the standard 172 brakes are very powerful. Ive got a racing seat with protecting frame built in but as for the harnesses ?? you look a bit of a tit driving around town with them on so the standard seat belts are fine. The top end will be about 170 but this is limited due to the gearbox - with the right 6th gear in god knows what top end will be. The car hasnt been built for flat out speed though - it will see about 120 - 130 on the quarter mile. On the public roads it barely goes over 70mph. I take it easy on the way to the strip as 8mpg is quite easily achievable with a lead foot :D

was just thinking you might want to stop it once in a while.

mine stops fine from 130 odd, i just thought you might be going quicker.

well, good news batman.
