turbo172 head gasket?

started to notice oil level falling very slowley
so i checked properley one day last week and noticed
a fair bit of oil has been seeping out!
looks like its coming from under the intake manifold!
would it make the car lose power?
it feel normal to drive.
iv had the car back around a year now since the turbo conversion was done by bbpt.
mybe it needs a good service,remap,cam belt?
how often do you change them on a 172?

intake manifold is it the normal cam cover leak then? seeing as yours is a turbo i would service it every 6k or 6 months

yh i chance oil every 2-3 thousand! and have had it in bit many times lol
yh must be cam cove then.
going back in for bigger injectors and more boost!
will have everything checked then.
since the conversion iv had wheel bearings go,2engine/gearbox mounts shatter!dropped the oil 3times because oil pressure gauge blown off!

is it the cover above where the cams would be (hold them in) if it is then they always leak its and easy ish fix

my 172 leaked there as well about a year ago - renault had my car for 2 days - had to take cambelt etc off to get to rocker cover - all cool now since

Is the oil breather at the back of the engine still fed through the intake? or does it have a catch tank?

it got a seperate breather now.

allways working lol
plus have bin dissconected frm internet.all back and running now.cars running good!
bored with power allready,i want more!
but sooner or later the gearbox will let go!
gonna try to do loads with the clio this year!
track days,airfield meets,santa pod,and mybe the ring if im brave lol.
cant wait till the dam summer! driving is so much more fun then!
also if you need to work on your car its still light !

Why not get ready for it and get a stronger Megan/Laguna/Velsatis 2.0 F4RT block with the bigger mating plate so you can use the stronger boxes the turbos use?

no im still on my first box
it would not select 3rd cause the engine/gearbox mount had gone!
3rd ok now!
but have almost the same prob in 5th now.
