Uch/ecu fault

2 weeks ago I replaced the uch and ecu over, I've now lost cruise control and also the traction control button dosent work.
Does this require programming In with the new ecu?

Did you find a solution to this because I am having a similar issue after swapping the uch/ECU. Traction control doesn't work, door open warning light stays on, button to lock doors doesn't illuminate. It's driving me mad trying to figure out why although the ECU that I swapped over looked the same but had a black front instead of silver so I'm wondering whether it's not the exact one for my car.

Nope still without cruise or traction I'm guessing it's because I've used a 172 Ecu instead of a 182? I'm going to Clio turbo on Monday so I'll be getting them to have a look for me. My bet is its the wrong Ecu for the car

Sounds like it's a mismatched ecu/uch set, were all the part numbers rhe same on both sets?

Nope new set I have fitted now had different numbers, it all works fine I'm not that bothered about the cruise control

have you used a 172 ecu? assume you have if the uch isn't set for cruise etc.

Yes was sent a 172 Ecu I just thought they were all the same haha bit late now as car goes for remapping next week

don't know why but when i was getting one cleared by chris at efi he said that you can run a 182 ecu on a 172 but not the other way round, can't remember why though?

Mmm strange everything is fine just no cruise and can't turn traction off might message Chris to make sure it will be fine for mapping

Sorted the problem having my old Ecu and new uch programmed while its in for mapping so I'll have cruise and traction back
