Uneven Brake Pad Wear?

just changed the pads and there is uneven wear on them, so top of the pad some left bottom of the same pad nothing left

could it be caused by this plate the pads sit in?

shitty side is how they came out, other side is after a good clean up.

or there is another cause?

Make sure your caliper sliders are well greased so the calliper moves freely and is not seized either on the top or bottom which could cause uneven wear.

can you grease the caliper? i thought it was a sealed unit?

They aren't needed. They're to stop noise iirc. How's that Micra doing?
