just spoke to bernie at c.p.s [01582840008] and he can rebuild a clio gearbox fit a limited slip diff for clios in excess of 250bhp for around 1300 notes depending on condition of the original item. he,s got a client thats been running a 300bhp engine on one for two years with no problems. i,ve just ordered mine. now back to bb performance tuning for a power hike and paddle clutch.

oh and do you know what kind of diff it is, i think the other one i was looking at was geared.
its running about 250 bhp but detuned because of the gearbox . bb performance tuning have seen over 500 bhp and 300 ft/lb of torque on the dyno. the kit costs around 7 grand cheaper if you fit it diy. no pics as yet as engine and gearbox out because its having a respray and colour change. bernie says there are weak points in the box design and these are modified and the diff is one of these so its replaced with a limited slip gripper diff . also because my box is new the teeth are shot peened and polished which reduces the chances of failure . other than that i think some work is done on the snap rings as these are prone to fail under increased side loads due to large torque increases.
