Using An Ipod With A 197 Cabasse Unit

I do not want to go down the ipod fm tuner route as the quality is rubbish. Has anyone done anything so they can use their ipod with this system.

they dont have a aux port.

i had an fm modulator fitted to the tuner under the seat and it works great .no interference at all. and it charges the ipod too.

Yeah, only works with stuff like the old Tuner List.

Get rid of my NASTY Pioneer unit for the OEM unit that actually sounds better.

Anyone wanna but a Poineer iPod Head Unit cheap? £50.

The Tune Point allows you to plug in an Ipod, USB key or USB hard drive and control it via the Renault head unit and stalk control.

They work with the Megane system so I can't see why they wouldn't work on any other Cabasse.

Also work on the 172 Tuner list. Still need a 182 to test.

Incorrect. The tunepoint will work with any new clio oem head unit with the 6 CD changer port.

it wont i'm afraid as the port for the cd changer takes the port needed for tunepoint, even renault say this in the accessories brochure

It will work, you just sacrifice the changer.

its either one or the other. but it does work with the head unit.
