Valver alarm and immobiliser + battery

Simple one for most of you Im sure but...

If I disconnect the battery, is this going to cause any issues with my alarm or immobiliser when I connect it back up again?

nah, ive had my battery off a few times and its never caused a problem

Cool and the gang.

Im going to play around with the car tonight to get it to idle and drive properly (I think there is a fuelling problem with it) so as I can get it to the g/fs parents house in Tring in order to service it tomorrow (and have fun with the oil filter!).

could be Idle Control Speed Valve if it wont idle properly?

I think its unlikely to be just that as under power, on a very gentle trailing throttle, or on a very gentle accelerating throttle it will burble like crazy and really jolt about.

No loss in performance under full revs, no smoke either touch wood.

Hence my feelings its a basic fuelling problem. Could it be the tps playing up, if so can I clean it and so on?!
