viper air feed location

hey ppl, i have just fitted my viper kit and im not sure if i am getting the best results from it, i cant hear the roar as i pull away and im not sure if i have chosen the right place to locate the air feed, ive mounted it in front of the engine so it comes out the upper grill as i thought this would be a good place. has anyone else located their air feed here and if so how does it run?

Lower grille to the right hand side !! with a hole cut into the mesh type stuff !!

Dont know the best place to put the feed for it, but dont expect too much noise, especially on a 1.2.

Doesnt mean its not doing the job....

at first it sounded wicked then the lovely sweet crisp sound went!
