Viper Induction Kit

Something rather strange happened when I fitted this yesterday. At 1st my car became all jerky and sluggish and the viper wasn't giving off it's usuall roar. This persisted for quite abit until I gave the car a good blast, after that the acceleration sharpened up and I was getting the induction roar. On the drive to work this morning it felt even nippier.

Could this be down to the ECU adjusting due to the extra air intake? Or as simple as the filter being blocked with 5hit?

  BMW E30 325iiiiii
more than likely it will be the ecu adjusting and compensating for the extra air...hows ur mpg with that induction kit on it?
not that it matters to me......i used 3/4s of a tank in 180 miles, and mines is standard lol, just curious.

Hard to judge really because since I fitted it my right foot has become heavier, the noise is quite addictive lol.

Seriously though I don't think it's made much of a difference, gave it quite abit of stick last night and it still returned 34MPG.
