I re-signed last week via the website.
Was paying around £56 I think for M500, Mega TV (TNT Sports & Eurosport), telephone and an O2 sim over 18 months.
The new deal is £42 a month for the same, but with no mention of the O2 sim, as that is paid for separately direct to O2, so going to cancel that once everything has gone through.
We've never used the O2 sim, it was just cheaper to have it when we last signed up. So hopefully cancelling it doesn't affect the above.
I would have left to be honest, but it was the cheapest deal where i got TNT and Eurosport by a mile, and i wanted to keep watching the MotoGP, WSBK, and UFC.
Cancel, wait 48 hours, enjoy your old price. Just done it myself last month. That time of the year again for us been paying £57 but now they want £74. Tempted to go elsewhere entirely. Anyone had much experience with BT broadband? Just weighing up my options to go broadband only. I do currently have tnt sports package added on which is something I want to keep hence considering BT.

You can get the early disconnection fee back.I'm going with the BT deal I think. Plan on moving next year and we likely know where we are moving to already and they don't have virgin in the area so would have to pay out the contract. Let's see what a f**k about this is going to be now 😞
Moving outside our network area, but still within the UK? It’s possible to be credited back your Early Disconnection Fee. Just provide us with some valid evidence of your new address, we’ll check it and get back to you within 30 days. The value of your Early Disconnection Fee will then be credited to your account.

Yeah, it used to be 24 hours so I was getting a bit twitchy after 36 hours. They rang after 2 business days.I need to renew mine now as it’s gone up to £67 for just the 500mb bb. Did they call you back after the 48 hours? Knowing my luck they would just say see-ya and stop my internet.
had a similar experience a month ago. The "specialist" team gave me a worse offer than the first person and said I couldn't take the original offer once I'd declined. Can't wait to move once another provider is available.Phoned the normal customer service number to see what they would offer before I start threatening to cancel.. it was bold of them to ignore half the package I have now and give me a number about a quid more than I pay. Then when I reiterated the kind of package I wanted, she added 20 quid onto the renewal price even the website quoted. Madness.
Guess I need to phone cancellation instead. If I tried to sell like this I'd be sacked 😂
