warped brake discs

Car  Clio 200
I believe i have managed to warp the n/s/f brake disc - braking from high speeds there is a vibrating coming through the pedal/wheel.Still plenty of pad left so i know thats not the fault. any ideas?

if that is the case will it be ok to use on short journeys until the new discs/pads come through.

and finally lol is it best to stick with standard discs/pads or after markets?

cheers

you will be fine to drove on it.

i found that O.E parts lasted no longer than cheaper aftermarket ones from places like GSF. i never got more than 20K out of a set of front discs.

ta for the quick reply,

a take it that the disc will be slightly warped then?

will look into aftermarkets i think.

yeah sounds warped to me. i did the same from a ring trip the other year after 14 laps in a day, lol.

should be fine to drive on but you'll get bl00dy annoyed with the rattling. plus i'd imagine the vibrations won't be good long term.
