Water in left sill

  CLS, RS MEG

Hi, Hope someone has an idea because i havnt! Ive noticed a swishing sound when driving, took the rear wheel arch cover off to find a puddle of water.
I thought it was getting in through the mounting holes for the rear bump strip. So i sealed them up with some sealent, but the puddle is now back. This time ive poured a jug of water over the bump strip, and no water is let through. This leads me to believe that its getting in somewhere else, possiblr near the front wing?
Has anyone else had this problem? You can see the water at the bottom of sill...

on both sides of the vehicle on both sills underneath there should be sill drains these tend to block up - causing your symptoms and problems - but can be caused from new due to the monkeys with the undersealer spraying too much on

James, are these sill drains located in the middle of the sills, or is there two either end? I need to sort this out because its making my inner arch go mouldy :S

As James said, there is 3 dainage holes along the inside edge of each sill which can become blocked up.
Best way i found to clear them was to use a high pressure airline, but be warned, youll get covered in smelly water if your lying underneath them!

Ok ive sorted the problem. Like discussed above, there is 3 VERY small drain holes, which look like a slit in the underseal, on the inner side of the sill edge, which i probed with a small allen key, water came pouring out :D Thanks guys!!!

Might block up again so be prepared to do it again, depends how much sh*t you have in your sill, made worse after waxoyling.
