in the third picture Ali it looks like something is hanging underneath the car that is not connected - just thought Id check, dont want it ending up in a hedge!!

looks mint - quite jealous - would love a minter, would have to lower the rear a touch but I get what your doing with the unmodded look.

Runs out to look! lol

Mark, Your dreamin son! ;) Although the willy is nothin like as fast as pinky! Not to mention the brakes are Shiteee! Used to 4 pots now!

I like the plates myself, half thinking of some for the cup but dont want any crap off the fuzz.. where did they come from?

Me too, but I don't think they are practical enough to have as your main/only car.

i laugh when i read this from mark 2 owners, its like think they are from the stone age and all they do is break down, i know quite a few mark 1's that are far more reliable than 172's / 182's etc, they have the same amount of seats, same size boot roughly so it makes no sense what you said above really

spot on

Lol. There not as comfy, they have less creature comforts, Unless you've got a good one you'll spend a fortune fixin it. The boot is neither here or there...But mines stripped so loads of room.

It's not an everyday car imo and i'll stand by that comment. But i don't half love these cars! Glad i've got one! :)

cheers martin

as much as i hate to agree with some of what you say ali i think you may be able to say better than i as you have had both, however it all depends what you want from a car and its a matter of opinion, creature comforts etc are pretty pointless in my eyes, and as for comfort...phase 2 valver seats seem to be the most popular for comfiness ever

I agree, in theory they are just as practical, they are both Clios. Im not sure about reliability, im sure if they are well maintained they are just as reliable as a mk2.

What more concerns me is that they are rare and almost a £4k supercar, if I had one I wouldn't want to park it on the road, in supermarket car parks, let my mum or girlfriend drive it etc
I would want to garage it. With my mk2 it doesn't stand out, its not rare, if I wrote it off I could get another one quite easily. With a Williams its more of a weekend car, and I reckon I would appreciate it more if I didnt drive it everyday.
